Finding an innovative application solution that can be highly integrated with Arcese systems

The solution

The project started with the management of the active and passive cycle and then extended its scope to the operational area, thus entering the core processes of the company, including first of all the qualification process of the carriers. As part of the direct purchase process of transport services, Arcese implemented the platform in all phases related to the management of the life cycle of the sub-carrier’s certification and related documentation. This means being able to manage a set of certified sub-carriers, giving the branch purchasing a subcontracting service the certainty that the supplier meets the necessary requirements for that type of transport and that the necessary documentation is up to date and valid. Therefore, the platform made it possible not only to create a centralised and controlled repository, but also to support structured, standardised and optimised processes for the management of the carrier master data and its lifecycle, as well as the documentation related to its certification.

At the same time, the project plan also included addressing the issue of Quality System Management and the process of approving, publishing and updating related procedures and operating instructions. With ARXivar, Arcese now manages the entire lifecycle of the procedure in accordance with the requirements of Quality Certification.
