The EconS2 e-Invoicing Dashboard distinguishes between:
- invoices issued
- invoices received
This tool arises from the need to have a monitor that allows users to keep under control the progress of invoices issued to the Intermediary and to the SdI (Interchange System).
When an invoice is issued, an action normally taken by the management systems, the EconS2 Dashboard traces the steps of the invoices transmitted by the SdI and the Intermediary, indicating if the invoice has been sent, received, rejected, and possibly the reasons for the rejection.
The management of invoices received in the EconS2 Dashboard has a significant plus. Once the user has received the information from the intermediary service, he proceeds to enter the invoice in the EconS2 Dashboard. It is also possible to automatically enter that invoice from the SdI, generating all those consistency and binding checks so that, from the standard accounting functions, it is not possible to delete a previously reconciled entry. Also in this case, there is a kind of “state of progress” which is much more limited than the issued invoices part.
Specifically, it defines the receipt of the invoice, its registration and then the transition from unregistered to registered and finally reconciled. The EconS2 Dashboard allows you to check that registration has taken place according to the date of receipt. Thanks to the direct connector, it is not possible for the recording date to be smaller than the reception date, which would lead to user errors with manual recording. In addition, as registrations occur, the EconS2 Dashboard allows you to monitor how many invoices have been received and how many have not yet been registered.
The EconS2 Dashboard becomes a tool for checking and verifying what has been
brought into the different environments involved (EconS2, Intermediary, SdI
fiscal agency). For this reason, MCG has developed tracking functions for document flows
so you don’t miss one. This becomes even more important for
mandatory storage (ECONCE , IXCE).
