How to guarantee a rigorous transfer of information between the offices involved in the production process, with evidence of the stages of progress? The answer comes from Giubelli, who received the Innovation Award from SMAU Milan on Tuesday 24 October.
An integrated information system to support all offices and actors involved in the production process (from design to quotation, drawing, production and dispatch). No more paper, no more movement of the people involved and information always available to everyone.
This is a summary of the project developed with ARXivar by the company Giubelli Gilberto srl, which on 24 October received the Innovation Award from Smau Milano.
The company, which produces hydraulic cylinders (60,000 per year), with the support of Soluzioni Informatiche, chose ARXivar to concentrate all information in one place and to manage business processes easily and securely
The project in brief
All actors involved in the processing of a specific order can view theprogress of the procedure: from customer enquiry, to invoicing, to shipping.
Each step is marked by a certain processing date, and any deviation is evident to the people working downstream in the processing cycle, in order to reorganise activities. The system also stores the archive of drawings and completed orders, so that when there is a new order for the same product, all useful information can be retrieved.
